It’s easy to feel lost at sea when trying to conceive (TTC), especially when you’ve mustered up the courage to seek professional guidance, only to feel unheard or unseen by the many nurses and doctors that are far too busy to answer all of your questions & hold your hands through this surreal process. As your Reproductive Health (RH) doula, I will offer various forms of unbiased support as you embark on your journey to conception, regardless of what that passage may look like. Whether choosing to seek guidance within the walls of a fertility clinic, or remain home and monitor your BBT & ovulation cycles for optimal insemination, I will provide you with a personalized, supportive plan of action that is best suited to your family’s needs and desires. My evidence-based model of support embraces a vast spectrum of fertility-related topics & variables, to include: menstrual cycle awareness, HSG testing, fertility-related MRI, semen analysis & evaluation, testicular biopsy, genetic & hormone testing, ovarian reserve & ovulation testing, hysteroscopy, hysterosonography, & laparoscopy, signs of the optimal fertile window, food-related infertility, favorable nutrient-rich diets, contraceptive-related infertility, chemical, pesticide, & radiation-related infertility, termination-related infertility, ovulation & basal body temperature (BBT) tracking, artificial insemination (AI) & intrauterine insemination (IUI), stimulated & natural cycle in vitro fertilization (IVF), oocyte (egg) retrieval & cryopreservation, semen collection, forms of surrogacy, fertility drugs, loss or unforeseen medical termination, and many more. As a Full Spectrum (FS) doula, I understand the end goal of the ceaseless hard work, time, money, patience, tears & preparations your family is unapologetically implementing; it is NEVER insignificant. To provide support for your family during such controversial times, I will also offer to accompany you to important fertility clinic appointments & uncomfortable testing procedures if desired. To keep emotions regulated towards your conception journey, I will offer additional services at a reduced hourly rate of $35. My goal as a RH doula is to instill confidence into my clients as they walk the paths of their personal reproductive journeys; by providing emotional & physical comfort measures and moral support, I hope to inspire them to persevere through the many obstacles they may face.
