Childbirth is the purest form of selflessness. As a womb-bearing individual, your body was designed for birth; it knows how to bring a baby Earthside. As the arrival of your new bundle(s) approaches, I will provide on-call support for the duration of your labor, birth, and immediate postpartum experience. My goal as your L&B doula is to provide judgment-free support & guidance for the duration of your birthing time. Whether planning to birth in a hospital, birthing center, body of water, nature, or in the comfort of your home, I am here to advocate for your birth plan, and ensure that you are shown cultural humility & birth equity. My L&B services include the use of nonpharmalogical comfort measure techniques such as counterpressure, hypnobirthing, breathwork, vocality, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, visualization, reflexology massage, birth ball positioning, and more! At the signing of your contract, I will provide a prenatal intake form that will help me gather the needed information to properly prepare for your desired birthing experience. *Disclaimer: Services are to begin with the onset of early labor AND full payment. Because estimated due dates (EDD) are simply suggestive, a 4-week buffer (2 weeks before, 2 weeks after) will be reserved for your birthing time, in hopes of providing assurance of my availability to support you. It is the client's responsibility to notify me of occurrences related to oncoming labor. Failure to notify me of the onset of events will result in withheld funds and possible absence for the duration of your labor & birth; it is the client's responsibility to reach out and provide accurate travel information, as well as updates prior to the doula's on-site arrival. On the off chance I am unable to attend your birth due to sickness, medical emergency, or scheduling overlap, I will offer the options of providing you contact with another doula that I hold a collaborative partnership with, OR issuing a full refund. After the initial, consecutive, on-call 24 hours of labor/birth/immediate postpartum support, a fee of $45 will be charged for each additional hour I provide services. At the conclusion of the support session, services will cease, additional fees will be due within the 24-hr grace period, and I will declare availability to other L&B clients. If postpartum support is desired, my "Postpartum Care and Support" services may be bundled at a reduced price.
